Pray for families in Jamaica, Mathare, and Kibera. Share our updates, videos, and stories so more people see what is happening on the ground.
Deh Abroad Village is a nonprofit rooted in faith, family, and community. We link people living abroad with communities in Jamaica and East Africa. Our focus is simple: stand with families, help children stay in school, and build honest, long-term relationships.
What We Do
Help families in Jamaica rebuild after storms like Hurricane Melissa.
Support a small community library and learning spaces in Mathare, Nairobi.
Strengthen a school in Kibera with toilets, classroom repairs, and meals.
Bring volunteers and partners to visit, listen, and serve alongside local leaders.
How We Work
We follow the lead of trusted local partners.
We focus on steady, practical projects over time.
We share updates so supporters can see where funds go.
We treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Fundraising Community
Deh Abroad Village is a nonprofit rooted in faith, family, and community. We link people living abroad with communities in Jamaica and East Africa. Our focus is simple: stand with families, help children stay in school, and build honest, long-term relationships.
Right now, we are focusing on three main causes. Your support helps each one grow.
Rebuild Jamaica – Hurricane Melissa
Hurricane Melissa damaged homes and community spaces across parts of Jamaica. We walk with families and leaders to repair or rebuild and to keep community centers open for children and elders.
In Mathare, children need books and a quiet place to learn. We support a small library and reading corner so kids have a safe space for homework, reading, and games that build skills.
In Kibera, teachers are doing their best with limited resources. We help them improve toilets, support classroom repairs, and work toward daily meals so students can learn with dignity.
