Our Impact

Deh Abroad Village / Our Impact

One Village at a Time

Our work grows through steady, small steps. A repaired roof. A shelf of new books. A classroom with working toilets. These changes add up for families and children over time.

Homes & Families

Families in Jamaica visited and assessed for home repair and rebuilding support after Hurricane Melissa and other storms.

Children Reached

Children in Mathare and Kibera reached through school visits, library time, games, and care packages.

Volunteers & Partners

Volunteers and partners who have traveled with us or supported from abroad to stand with these communities.

Jamaica – Rebuilding After the Storm

After Hurricane Melissa, families in Jamaica shared how the storm damaged their homes and community spaces. Together with local leaders, we are working to support at least five families with direct rebuilding help and to strengthen community centers that serve children and elders.

Mathare – A Small Library with a Big Heart

In Mathare, a simple library gives children a place to sit, read, and think. With more books, shelves, and games, that room becomes a true learning hub. We support this space so children have a quiet corner to grow.

Kibera – Better Days at School

In Kibera, teachers are doing what they can with limited resources. By helping them with toilets, classroom repairs, and support for meals, we make each school day a little safer and more stable for their students.
